Schaub and Diles

Its a shame these two are injured. They were playing as well as anyone at their position over the last month in the NFL. They were progressing as player and were going to be key to us taking the next step, no matter which way you spin it this is a setback for the franchise.

Sure Schaub is "only out 2-4 weeks" but we need him to come full circle as a starting QB. Until he has a long stretch of starting he's never gonna fix the turnover problem.

Diles is out for the season and who knows if he'll come back okay from the broken leg? He was getting better every week and now he wont be back until next year. That long of a layoff, especially for a young player, could leave him way off from where we need him to be (see Charles Spencer).

Just when we think we're over the injury problem, this happens

PS: Dont forget our young DT Okoye is most likely out this week as well, just another young player we cant afford to have injured because we need them to develop in order for the franchise to take the next step from mediocre to good

It suckss even more that a cheap shot and a random ass broken leg are gonna bite us that way. Jared Allen should be suspended until Schaub is cleared to play again. Okoye, eh. He isnt doing all that much anyway. Im stoked to see Bouman, Cochran, and Okam get some PT

Bentley will start at the Weak side and Okam will play. i don't know who will "start" on the DLine but in this system it's a rotation so it doesn't really matter who's out there for the first play.
