Say what you want, but last night I thought I'd stumbled across an early 90s game with Warren Moon and Company running the Oilers' R-and-S, but discovered it was the Holiday bowl with Texas boys demontrting the manly art of football to the California boys. Guess the BCS has it right after all.

Tech put the did us all a favor , they shut Cal's trap .... after a week of talking trash about getting passed over for a BCS game Cal (#4 in both ESPN and AP polls #5 BCS) gets trounced by the Red Raiders (#22 BCS #21 ESPN #23 AP) .

Lets just hope Texas and OU do just as well in their bowl games (GOD that was tough to say cause i HATE OU) and show everyone which conference is the toughest in the nation . The talk all season has been about the Pac10 . what a joke .

Hey Auburn , great season and look on the bright side , maybe you forced the BCS to finally think about a play-off even if you did get the shaft this season .....

The BCS sucks , everyone but the BCS knows it . Give us a play-off

Tech is moving in the right direction. UT owes Tech a big one! Now Cal has nothing to cry about.UT better smash Michigan in the mouth!
Those two backs from Cal look good IMO. Tech made Cal's D look bad.

big 12 needed a good showing last night...losing to the Big 10 and having to put up a fight against the MAC and WAC shouldn't have to happen

MarleyFan is cool

by me. Texas Tech played inspired football & deserved the win, Cal looked disappointed & did not embrace the adversity of missing out on what they perceived was rightly theirs. But this is why College football is so outstanding & unpredictable these are still young men learning in some cases lifes lessons the hard way.

I would expect to see both teams in bowl games next year & if they do face one another a much more tightly contested affair.

cal looked a lot like the texas teams of they past. they missed out on their bcs bowl and didn't show up to play. tech played a great game.
