Ill give you Porter and Ginn without a doubt, but....ah....pennington well, your right in that he IS one of the best game managers in the NFL but he doesnt do anything super......

So i guess you could make a good case, but itd be turned down in my court...

The way Pennington was dogged out in NY every year was a joke. The guy isnt a superstar but it does his job and moves the team. There arent a ****load of great qb's now so if you have one to move the chains and keep the ball you roll with him.

Pennington is not the best QB in the AFC.

But it would be hard to argue that he isn't the most efficient.

2nd in the NFL in completion percentage.
2nd in the NFL in yards per pass attempt.
4th in the NFL in % of passes going for 1st downs.
5th in the NFL in QB Efficiency Rating.

I actually liked when Joey talked smack to the Pats about Cassel, guy has tremendous confidence in his team and himself. As for Ginn, how is he panning out? I mean I know he had a good game this past weekend but how's the vibe about him down there?

Damn, "by the numbers" you're actually right. Chad is in the top 3 (AFC) in every stat cat except TDs.

JP is a great player, but my Dolphins buddies always complain about his contract. Not sure what he makes but they tell me it really hurt their cap situation. He's what the Miami defense needs though, without him they would be getting LIT up every game, even more than they are now.

I think CP is playing great. He knew that this was probably his last chance at keeping a starting job and he is taking advantage. Amazing because he really doesn't have anybody special to throw to. He has some decent receivers but Miami really lacks offensive weapons.

good thing i said "right now" and why i alluded to the numbers for my defense. i don't think he is, but he's the most efficient QB in the conference right now

I like how Joey Porter calls players like that out. He is being real and telling the truth. One thing you can say about Porter and his trash talk is that he has backed it up for years. He intimidates teams and gets a lot of players frustrated. He is an old school smash mouth type of player and I would love for the Texans to get a guy like that.
