The Texans are 9½- 10 point favorites depending on what sportsbook you look at.
It's only the 3rd time in Texans history (2nd game in a row) that they've been favored by more than 9 points. They are 1-1 the 2 previous times. Houston has won 4 games in a row when favored and are 7-2 in the last 9 games they were favored, with all wins at home. The Bengals are 0-11 since 2001 when they've been an underdog by more than 8 points. 0-10 on the road. The Texans have never beaten the Bengals (0-3). First meeting at Reliant since the Texans inaugural season, a 38-3 loss. The last time the Cincinnati Bengals lost a football game in Houston, TX was a 20-13 loss to the Oilers on Sept. 25, 1994. Los Angeles had 2 football teams then and Baltimore had none. The Texans have won 6 of their last 7 home games and are 10-3 in their last 13 home games. The Bengals are on a 7 game losing streak. Cincy has lost 12 of their last 14 road games. Houston is 3-10 against the AFC North (2-4 at home). Cincy is 5-8 against the AFC South (4-4 on the road).

thx for the stats its interesting to see but history doesn't mean anything. We never beat the colts until we beat them.

Well, our statistically pretty goddamned good offense should do okay against their mediocre defense.
Our statistically bad defense (Not the worst, but bad), is going against their statistically terrible offense seems like a matchup that they can exploit, but they also seem incapable of doing it against anybody. They have played Cleveland this year (And gave them their other win that wasn't vs the Giants), as well as an up and down Jets team. We are probably going to be the easiest defense they've faced so hopefully we don't see them explode on us. It scares me, but I think in a shoot-out type game, we are well equipped to take it down to the wire and beat them with a long TD drive.
