I just got finished checking the guide on my directv and Fox only has the early game and they are showing dullass. So you know what that means if you live in the Austin area, sports bar time, and the worst part is there will be tons of dullass fans at the sports bar.

Any watch parties up in the northern region? It's a tricky weekend for me, I am going out of town Friday and Saturday for a wedding, and I am putting in a new water heater in my house on Sunday morning.

Doesn't matter. CBS has the doubleheader next week. FOX can only show one game.

As usual, thank heaven for the Sunday Ticket,and this time I will have the house to myself on my b-day watching the cowardly Lions go down! ( wife and kid will be gone)

Yes - again and again, it's wonderful that some of you are able to have DirecTV, but for some of us it's not an option.

In all fairness, Fox7 is the Cowboys channel, and it's not as if Detroit-Houston is a ratings draw. I can't fault the affiliate for showing loyalty to the Cowgirls even as Dallas's season disintegrates into mediocrity. If only KEYE would treat the Texans with such loyalty and respect.

TV ? What's that?

We haven't had TV since IKE! Direct Dish blew off the roof and they won't even MAKE appointment times for repair, they say they are soooo far back- logged. Supposedly scheduled for the 27th 28th or 29th!!!!!!!!!

However if you call for a new installation, you can have it tomorrow

So yeah, No watching or recording games here either!

That's horrible..once electricity was restored here our Direct TV came right on. I haven't seen any trucks for them around either..just the Comcast guys.

WHOA - that is indefensible, despicable, and inexcusable. There's NO WAY I wouldn't cancel their service - AND tell them to go eff themselves. That's how they treat loyal, existing customers? Man, even if it means no Sunday Ticket - screw them. Good god.

Whole situation is ridiculous, we called to cancel and go with Dish, Our contract is not up until January so there would be a huge fee!
We pay over $140 mo. They want to charge US for repairing THEIR equipmnet!

We are really angry!

I have Sunday ticket for this reason exactly. I've noticed that every now and then the Texans aren't broadcast over here. So, I get all the Texans games. I'm pretty sure there's a few sports bars in New Braunfels that broadcast the Texans games if I'm not mistaken.
