Even for just one season if his intensity can wear off on the rest of the squad it would be well worth it.

Are we that insecure as fans that we really feel the need to point out former Broncos or Packers?

Lynch was a great great great player.

But at this point, his coverage ability is similar to Roy Williams'.

I would love someone with his intensity on the field though.

Bringing him in for a workout won't hurt. I think it'd be great. He's nowhere near the player he once was, but if he can beat out some people on our team, why not? Nothing expensive obviously.

Who would we cut to add him? I don't know how I'd feel getting rid of one of the young guys just for someone who isn't THAT great to play half a season. But we are hurting at safety and I've always liked the way Lynch played. Maybe he's the type of guy to come and and add a spark, get the other players fired up and not so lacksidaisical (how the heck to you spell that word?)

I was calling to bring him in when he was first released from Denver. He could at least help out some of our younger guys and bring some toughness to the field on certain plays where he might be beneficial to have on the field.

They are not going anywhere so I do not see the point in bringing him in.

Which is slightly better than some of our safties... I would, just because we need a leader.

Even if he does have and itch to play again.......it's not going to be here on a 0-4 team, I think we can all go ahead and forget about this idea. He's going to want to go to a winner.

There are twelve games left on our schedule. That is far from mid-season or a halfway point for the arithmetic challenged.

Why give up on this year? Seriously, 0-4 sucks, but we can still make the best of it. I'm thinking more about what our young players could learn from a player like Lynch. Experience and veteran leadership is in short supply on this team.
