Got some messages from friends who saw the end of the Texans game when the game they were watching ended.

It left quite the impression.

Not to get too off topic but I love your avatar of Sysiphus, although I can't help but think of another Greek story, that of Prometheus. His punishment for introducing fire to humans I believe was to be chained down and have an eagle eat his liver every day (it grew back every day as well). Good stuff.

I am sure we will be hearing about this one for the next week (at least) from various sports media outlets. Collapses/comebacks like this make great fodder for radio and television alike.

Ugh! Had my buddies over for all the games this morning. None were Texan fans. Most of them have ridiculed me for years for being a Texan fans. By the end of the game, they were like, "I'm sorry man." Needless to say, it wasn't comforting.

I was at an applebees (In Georgia) that was showing all of the games today. I was one o the only people watching the TV showing the Texans game. In those last two minutes as I was getting ready to puke, Someone yells "HOLY SH*T Indy came back!" and everyone in the bar starte laughing. I am tired of being a laughing stock.....

True enough, I have seen enough posts on this board complaining that the Texans never seemed to receive enough national media attention. Although the attention the Texans will be receiving from this debacle is hardly what many of us had in mind.

We have been relegated to Lions, Raiders and Bengals level of play and so the media writes us off and when we win one its usually about how the other team made so many mistakes the lost to us. I can just see it now had we won the media would have said well Manning still looks to not have his timing down and how Sanders not being there the Colts D fell apart.

Honestly we are no better than the Raiders, Lions or anyone in the league. Has anyone seen what makes us ANY better?
