I wonder if the same would have happened if the Texans have drafted him. Too bad for the kid, he has alot of talent, but seems injury prone..

on the raido yesterday, Kubiak sounded really impressed with D. Brown. Kubes said how he thinks he's a really special player, and that the kid LOVES to play football and to pay attention to him on the sidelines. Of course that could all be coaches talk.

Just think though, we got Duane Brown, Steve Slaton and Dominique Barber with that original 1st round pick!

Yeah, especially in the game last night. As a huge fan of football it was awesome to watch, but the two team's hatred of each other cost them both in regards to health.

I, for one, am elated that we decided to pass on Mendenhall and roll with D. Brown, D. Barber, and A. Moulden.

Not that anybody can forsee an injury like that, but the kid has not been impressive in any way shape or form since entering the NFL. Maybe next year he'll do much much better.

I agree duane was a bigger need and slaton is looking like a star in the making.

A good fried of mine is a Steelers fan, and I got to say 9 sack Ben and the MASH unit that is there RB corp, is finally giving some ammunition to fire back with, when I saw this thread this morning it actually made me smile.

Why?He will be back and will be the featured back with no comp from Mendehall. They signed the dumper Najeh Davenport too. I think he will get the load of the carries because Moore is a 3rd down guy.
