BREAKING NEWS: Miami sucks

pretty miserable performance against the Cardinals. secondary is a joke right now, as is uh everything else. not a good sign with Boldin and Fitzgerald combine for 300 yards receiving. on 12 catches. the receiving corps is abysmal. the current regime seems to have given up on Ted Ginn already; don't recall seeing him on the field at all for the first 3 quarters

Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown constantly followed up good runs with stops at the line of scrimmage. Pennington looked good on a lot of passes, but never really had the time to do anything

Chad Henne came in and did pretty well. he came in late and the Cards just sorta let him march up and down the field

Arizona is 2-0 for the first time in 17 years, and their offense has the potential to really do some damage to a lot of teams

but you have to take it with a grain of salt. the Jets' offense looked fairly average against this Miami defense last week, and were just as average against the Patriots today. also this just in: the Patriots didn't go 16-0 because of one player. let Cassel get a few more starts under his belt and they'll be deadly, not as dangerous as last year but still good enough to win it all

Patriots will be lucky to win 10 games, in my opinion.
The Cardinals have put up 2 good performances against the Dolphins and the 49ers. Not exactly the who's who of defenses. (The Seahawks put up 30 on the 9ers)

Well you guys are rebuilding, what'd you expect? Just be glad you aren't the St. Louis Rams, who just gave big extension to guys like Bugler and Jackson. Now they're going to suck for a long, long time.

it's certainly possible to look competitive whilst rebuilding. look at Atlanta, for example.

yeah despite all the parity in the NFL, the 4 or 5 worst teams in the NFL this year look the same as last year's 4 or 5 worst teams.
