I hate the bye, but I just hope Reliant is repaired in time for the Colts game. I am anticipating the worst however seeing as 5 of the 9 pieces of the retractable roof were ripped off :-(

The bye is overrated as far as injuries go. Having the extra week to game plan for an opponent? That is an advantage.

someone else pointed out that we'll get 4 home games in a row in oct. and Nov. so loosing the bye may be worth it for a team like us that does decidedly better at home that on the road.

Not a fan of a week 2 bye, but after last week's embarrassment maybe it will turn out to be a good thing.

We do "decidedly better" at home? As I see it we still ONLY HAVE 8 HOME GAMES. How does it not benefit us to have a week off in the middle of the season instead of having 15 straight games. That is a huge stretch. If we somehow made our way to a wildcard our team would be so beat up that we could not possibly perform to the best of our abilities.
