Dallas Cowboys Training camp footage - Houston Texans Message Board & Forum

Ladies and gents. As you know the Dallas Cowgirls train in Oxnuts...er excuse me Oxnard, California. Why a TEXAS team trains in California instead of Texas is beyond me but I digress. Last year many "experts" picked the girls to go all the way. Imagine their surprise when they folded like a cheap card table in the playoffs AGAIN. This year Wade "The Traitor" Phillips has decided to let his players be themselves and is allowing them to play and practice in a way befitting the current Dallas Cowgirl organization and it's rich traditions.
They are in training camp letting it be known that they share a three way tie with the Steelers and 49ers with 5 superbowl wins a piece. This year the girls want Lombardi trophy #6 and NFL bragging rights. At great risk to my own safety I've attained footage of the Dallas Cowgirls training camp. What I uncovered may shock you, so I warn you. You watch this video at your own risk. Thank you, and my God have mercy on us all.

The reason they train there is called marketing....and the weather is really, really nice.

San Antonio signed a 5 year contract to be home of the Cowboys TC last year. It will be their home for training camp until 2011. A scheduling conflict at the Alamodome for this years training camp is the reason they are in Oxnard,Ca. I think the Texans should have a training camp in Austin one year but that would take away from the fans in Houston that can attend open practices.

Oh I know all about the SA thing...but Jerry has said that he wants to find some way to have training camps in BOTH places....the Cowboys trained in Thousand Oaks for years during the Landry era and it is directly responsible for the fans they have in California.

To me the Texans don't seem interested in marketing outside the Houston area. JMO.

And the Cowboys have a history in California so why not?
