Why did the Texans Cut Coley ?

Texans are starting to upset me with some of their roster moves/non-moves. Not that he was going to make an impact but still....

Well....I didn't think he was going to have an impact this season....

I did think that he could atleast be a good back-up special teamer next yr. from the little that I've seen of him...

Of course at the end of the day, the Texans staff is more familar with the players....so...que sara sara...

I dunno, but I just thought that his preformance in game 4 of the pre-season was enough to atleast warrant holding on to him to see if he developed into a player worthy of a roster spot...

The posters at the Carolina board had nothing positive to say. He seems to be Travis Johnson, Jr. A guy who talks the talk, and acts like a warrior, but just exactly where is he on each play?

Can't fault the front office for trying, though. Better than sticking with what ya' got and acting like it's OK.

You tend to get a pretty good idea, on an exiting player, by reading the fans' reactions. When we got Chris Meyers (C) from Denver, there was a lot of posters on the Denver board who were not happy about losing him. There was dancing in the streets of Oakland when Phyllis Buchanon left the Raiders. They laughed and said, "Oh, the poor Texans fans! Bwah-ha-ha!"

Hey, he's on the practice squad. What more could they possibly do with him right now, when they're already keeping Adibi on the roster and injured?

They cut him from the practice squad yesterday to add a TE.

Yeah...The only reaon I caught it was because I was reading the Texans practice report...

Adibi hasn't been showing up on the injury reports, so I assume he's healthy. We 're probably going to see him activated for Sunday's game, and we should see him play some on ST and maybe nickle D.
