He is intentionally growing it that way although its not reached full mullet status yet.

Don't care if he sports a mullet or a mohawk, just continue to perform the way he has been...

BTW he said he will cut it off after the preseason to look "more professional".

Yeah, he said that, but he also said he's been getting a lot of people wanting him to keep it so he just may. I say keep the mullet....it rocks! This guy thinks so too:

Anderson needs to keep it and let it really grow. Take into account how he would have made the team with a total balls on mullet, he would be a huge fan favorite.

Next thing you know we'll see bobble head dolls sportin' his mullet.

I think the lightning bolt mullet will be the new "in" hairstyle before the season is over after Anderson blows up. This fanbase can use the lightning mullet as a rallying point, much like the Yankees Giambi mustache all star campaign.

Imagine how great our homefield advantage would be if there was a sold out Reliant Stadium on MNF Battle Red Day...every fan in the stadium rocking lightning mullet wigs

What's funny is he was growing a "pornstache" to complement the mullet as well, but it was itching his nose when he tried to sleep. Looks like I'm gunna have to order me a battle red Anderson jersey.
