Just booked my flight to Milwaukee...gonna drive the rest of the way(117 miles) in and save 500 bones....

Whos's going this year? I heard the faaavrrrra guy isn't there any more....

400 bucks on Continetal from Houston. You would probably use almost that much in gas alone.

I drove to san diego on 80 bucks of gas one way.. i was gettn 500+ miles to the tank on my honda civic hybrid... I was thinkn of driving also

I am winging it...flight booked, hotel booked, and car booked. Will either get tickets at the stadium or StubbHub.

I've never been up that way so the scenery of driving might be nice. I haven't booked a hotel yet...
my brother in law is splitting driving with me so it should be cake compared to two plane tickets...I'll check in and out as the times get closer for the best price

I bought my tickets on www.titletowntickets.com . They are reasonably priced and I just received my tickets last week. They also sell tailgating passes. The wife and I are flying in on Friday the 5th and leaving on Mon the 8th.

In December the 'scenery' is frozen farm land and lakes covered with snow (or not). And a 100+ mile drive, if it's dry, is no problem. But if you happen to hit a weekend when it decides to dump 6 inches or more of snow - and it blows - driving can really suck once you get outside the metro areas.

Be especially careful driving if you aren't used to sub-freezing conditions. After living in Texas my whole life, I found I am quite horrible at driving in the snow/ice

Probably the best way to go is to get a flight into Milwaukee and then drive to your hotel. Book your hotels as soon as possible. You sure dont want to be driving from Milwaukee, or Osh Kosh on a wintery day. We booked our hotel in GB in April right after the schedule was released.

You can get tailgate tickets up there pretty easily. They cost about $25 for all the beer, screwdrivers, bloody mary's and brats.

If you go up the day before the game or plan to stick around until Monday you have to go to Krolls for their Butter Burgers.

I might just fly up there after thinking about how much snow there might be. Anyone have suggestions on good hotels?

4 people out of my tailgate crew are going....they booked everything through the Texans.

Mojo, I say you drive Mojo1 up there....I'm sure that thing doesnt guzzle gas or anything.
