Well the owners just took a bath with NFL Europe. They are licking their wounds.
They just voted out of the current CBA. I wouldn't be looking for an expansion of anything until they corral the rookie saleries. JMHO

And Kubiak will cut the deep snapper with one bad snap in four years when pigs fly. You can take that one to the bank. Double S will go PS befor Pittman is out dangling on the waiver wire.

Long Snapper is one of the most important spots on the team. Having a good LS is essential. You don't want to see balls flying over kicker's heads or rolling out to them. Bad plays like that will just wreck any momentum you have. Long Snapping is one of those positions that you only notice when it's going wrong and it's easy to forget how good you have it.

Leave Pittman alone.

And Slaton makes the 53.

My comment was not about Pittman. It was more about the need for more players on the roster. But with the limited amount of roster spots I feel that the LS can be a backup at another position

The Depth Chart was updated today at HoustonTexans.com. Here is the link:

http://www.houstontexans.com/team/depthchart.asp

Once again, no real shockers. Fred Weary was removed from the roster, and Chris White is listed at #2 at both Center and Right Guard.

Also, Chris Taylor has moved up to 3rd string RB, with Steve Slaton 4th string and Darius Walker at 5th string. I know for some people, the big news will be Steve Slaton at 4th string. He will get his chance to start with the first team on Friday, so we will all have a better sense of where he fits in by Saturday morning.

Jacoby Jones is still listed as 1st string Punt Returner.

to clarify, he won't START. Kubiak made it very clear on 610 that he's not "starting". He'll get reps with the 1's. that's it.
