The times I got to see him at TC he looked good to me. I think he'll be like he was last year. JJ ftw!

I bet he'll look great in preseason action again. Lets just hope this year he'll carry that over into the regular season so he doesn't get a "Mr. Preseason" label.

the most recent clip on texanstv shows JJ catching a few passes in what looks like practice w/o pads on.

J.J. seemed back to normal during last Sat.'s practice.

I expect him to improve from last season but I've seen more than one quote about him needing to work on his mental game. He isn't learning the x's and o's as well as he should. In his second year I'd expect more. I'm still very excited about his potential though.

I think once his injury is completely healed up all the way and he gets his mind on his game he will be just fine.

I don't put much in the way of expectations for most any rookie WR until their 3rd season, but he's not going to get the play time it would take to really progress this season, I don't think. I would like to see more of last season's pre season show up in this year's regular season. Fact of the matter, I'm still up on my feet everytime he sets up for a PR. One of these days....

I meant from a health standpoint.
To be straight about it, I've been more impressed with some of the so-called camp fodder WRs than I have been with J.J....
now that's just at WR.
At PR, no one else was close.

I'm glad that people's expectations seem to be a bit more realistic this pre-season. Some folks were crowning him no. 2 WR last year w/o him earning the spot.

After his injury when he returned, he became very tentative, evidently very guarded about getting reinjured. He was no longer of the kimakaze mindset.
His speed, only when combined with that mindset, made him what he originally was. It it to be seen, if he regains that "I am indestructible" edge.
