Jags' Reggie Williams to have knee surgery
Email this article E-MAIL Sporting News - Print this article PRINT COMMENTS 3 Sporting News - User Comments Sporting News - Watch this Topic WATCH THIS TOPIC Sporting News - RSS Feed Posted: July 30, 2008 JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Jaguars receiver Reggie Williams will have arthroscopic surgery after re-injuring his right knee during training camp, the third setback in two weeks for Jacksonville. Williams initially hurt his knee while working out last week and opened camp on the physically unable to perform list. He was activated Tuesday and returned to practice, but tweaked his knee during the evening session. He made a spin move following a catch and then limped off the field. He was examined by team trainers and then carted to the locker room for tests. http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn...c.php?t=440188 Well, this is certainly good news for the Texans. Not that the Jags had really good WR's going into the season anyway, but the fact that Porter and Williams (Their best two WR's) are both out of pre season completely is going to make that Jaguars passing game struggle A LOT. Don't think that I'm feeling sorry for them one bit. |
