Don't know Powell or Stevenson but it hurts to lose Spencer and Abbate.

Adam Caplan of BattleRedNation.com / Scout.com is reporting Steve Slaton signed a four-year deal with the following minimum base salaries:
(2008) $295,000
(2009) $385,000
(2010) $470,000
(2011) $555,000.
Signing bonus of just over $664,000.

Not bad at all for a guy that can come in and change the pace a little. A guy that might be able to line up in the slot at times. A guy that might not ever be an every down kind of guy. Much more cap friendly than paying him $26 million guaranteed and $51 million over 6 years.
