BJ Symons Injury Update ?

Though an Eagles fan, I've lived in Texas all of my life, and became a BJ fan after watching many of his games.
I have never heard just what placed him on the IR. Would someone please enlighten me as to his injury, prognosis, etc.

season required surgery, which is one of the reasons he lasted to the 7th
round--should be fine next year in the Texans '2 yds and a cloud of dust

HEY! That's 3.4 yards mister and there is no cloud of dust. That's why they soak the field at Reliant before the games!
