Ummmm, I'm assuming he has enough cash where he could have called a cab....

TitansRadio.com, an arm of the official site of the Tennessee Titans, reports that Titans defensive end Jevon Kearse has been arrested for DUI.

“Metro Nashville police said Kearse was seen speeding and swerving several times while travelling west on West End Avenue,” the site reported.

Police said that Kearse had red eyes, slurred his speech, and smelled of alcohol. He refused to submit to a breath test, but there’s no word on whether he failed a field sobriety test.

I agree. I don't understand why these people choose to drive when they are plastered. I honestly will never understand it.

Excellent addition to the Titans D IMO. Glad to see him back in Meatball Blue and already picking up the slack left by the departure of Pacman.

Was he by any chance going to or returning home from a strip club? That would pretty much make the story complete in my eyes.

We're told Vandy police pulled over Jevon's Escalade at 4:42 AM CT after it was spotted "swerving at a high rate of speed." After Jevon failed field sobriety tests, he refused to take a breathalyzer.
