Section 629

I bought season tickets for the first time this season and will be in Section 629. Anyone around that area that can tell me how the section is? I've been to several Texans games but have mostly sat in the 100's. I have been in the 600's on a couple of occasions but never close to 629. So let me know what to expect from my neighbors.

I'm completely familiar with the view. I went to the stadium and sat in each seat available in my price range and picked the one I liked best.

What I'm more curious about is who will be around me. Will I be around a bunch of opposing team fans who bought tickets from brokers or will I have some friendlies? Will I have a-holes behind me who poke me in the back and tell me to sit down when I'm standing and cheering when we're on defense (like what happened to me in Section 117.) You know, those kinds of things.

And, She Texan, I am a full time student with a son due in 3 weeks. I am lucky to be getting season tickets at all.

I sit in 629!!

The section isn't bad. It's not all that rowdy either though. I sit in 629 row E and all the people do in the row behind me is talk talk talk which get annoying. The people in front of me just drink drink drink which is also irritating. My dad and I are the only ones who seem to be cheering and hollering.

Most everyone sits in their seats when nothing real exciting is taking place. Everyone stands when the rest of the stadium stands up when it's 3rd down and the D is trying to stop them or if the Texans are about to score, etc...

It's not a bad section. I can't say it's a real good section either. But I'm at the game so I can't complain that much.

I was just kidding Nero!! Glad you can get to the games. I sat in the 600 section during the SB and didn't like it much, BUT, I am old and fat and my knees kept hitting the person in front of me.lol If you want to have visiting fans all around you, people telling you to sit down, a-h's from hell making your game day experience not so much fun, come to the Bullpen.

BIG congrats on your upcoming status as a DAD!!! Let us all know when the big event arrives. That will be the most wonderful day of your life, I guarantee it!!!

I have some seats up there in row C. I only sat up there once long ago the last time the packers came to town and I was miserable because of the overweight couple bleeding over into my seats lol. You can see everything from up there but you might want to bring you a small set of field binoculars (depending on your eyesight). I still have my seats up there because my friend buys them every year and. After sitting in row two in the lower level from day one I don't think i want to sit that high anymore but PackerFan broke the bank to have my lower seats so I just thought I would help them out..lmao. I think you will like those seats because 10 rows up you might want to hold the rail on the way up and down....the incline is kind of steep. Congrats on you seat purchase and your future family member.
