Default Who do we pick up in the Draft?

Who do the Texans pick up in the Draft this year? Another defensive player or offensive player?

Yes.

They need help on both sides still. Enough so that I think the first pick will be the highest guy at a need position available regardless of whether it's offensive or defensive.

I really want a 1st round offensive lineman but if we cant get one I think we draft Thomas Davis SS from Georgia, another CB or a DL.

I beleive the first pick should go to a DE, MLB, or SS. Our second picks should go to the O-Line or TE. I don't have a problem with dropping a few spots, unless like Derrick Johnson or another big name player is available, to pick up another 2nd round pick and fill in some holes.

actually i think right now our biggest need a really strong and fast DT...marcus spears or shaun cody needs to be the guys we focus on the most...maybe we'll be able to trade down in the draft and pick up one of these guys along with another 2nd rounder which would help us out a lot...maybe be in position to pick up carlos rogers and a O-lineman

I think from today's game against the Colts we saw what can happen with a decent pass rush. Peyton was rushed into bad throws and our secondary played better. We have to get someone either throught the draft or free agency who will disrupt the passer consistently.

A big hitting safety, like Davis from Georgia (if he comes out).

Right now I think we should consentrate on our lines, both offense and defense. From there we should look at MLB. The rest is a little to far to tell unless someone sees something I missed.
