Canopies

For those of you who might be in the market for a new canopy, Academy has the 12X12 for $79. I am not sure how long they will be at the price, so if you have an old one that's getting worn out, now is a good time to get another one.

Tailgating season starts Saturday !!

Seriously though, that's pretty good. I may have to open mine up to see how good (/or bad) of shape it's in...

Well we set up on a grass, so we could use our 15X20 if we so chose, but thats a PITA setting up every week... I will be getting my stuff out of storage tomorrow to take a look and see if I require a new one or not !!

As for the yellow coats, do what we do, ignore them !!

Beleive me... we try to ignore them...


Hopefully this year I can make it around to other folk's tailgates. I usually am pretty much stuck with the cooking for our little group (within the big group)... Since you were able to swing by last year, my turn to come visit....

The canopies are always open, and if you come by at the night games, we'll leave the light on !! You guys are all welcome, just give a days heads up !!

Uh-oh. I hope this isn't the canopy I have - that breaks every 3rd game seemingly, and we return and get another one.

Well hey then, you get a new canopy every other month....

I hope they haven't turned to lesser quality, as I know I have one that I got in 03' that might have 1 more good season left in her before I have to retire it !!

I meant uh-oh because that might be a clearance bring in the next model price....!!

Not sure WHAT our problem is, but we tend to bend the folding bars that are up under the canopy.

Not sure what your problem is either, but it could involve alchohol....

I have two 10 x 10 canopies but I may need another one for the Blue Crew. Everyone seems to have theirs in their little areas and we really need (4) good canopies in the main area.

I have an extra space next to Joe's truck that you are welcome to "scoot" your tent to. I always say, the more the merrier.

The first year ('02) I had a pole canopy that you had to put together all the poles, then throw the top over it and secure it, then take it all apart every time. Scrapped that for an ez-up in year 2 and have been going with it since. 5 years now. Still in good shape too, but that Academy deal sounds too tempting to pass up. I know I'll need another one someday......

We have 2 of these in 10x20...not cheap but you get what you pay for...they don't bend.
