His last time before the draft was in the 4.3's. He purportedly ran as low as 4.27 prior to that in college--for what those numbers are worth.

Its really fun to watch him run because with as tall as he is, his strides are so long and it looks like hes moving in slow motion yet pulls away from anybody!

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/foo...yers/1211.html Kind of intresting to read the bio of him before the draft: Quote:

AJ won the Big East 100 & 60 meter championship titles while in college -
all in the same season. And you gotta figure he just messed around with it on the side. But 40 times: I've seen something like 4.25 -4.3. Yea, this isn't some guy that happened to get a quick watch the one time he was timed in a football workout. The link documents his college competition. http://hurricanesports.collegesports...050502aaa.html |

At the upcoming tailgate against the Colts, we should all time our 40's and see who is the quickest!

The source Fiddy cited looks very out of character for what was said back then. Everyone had Rogers and AJ neck a neck with Rogers getting the nod from most for having better hands and a tiny edge in speed and AJ having better size and ability to work against physical players.
