Pros: Spencer manned the left tackle spot as a senior after converting to guard during his junior season. The former defensive tackle combines fine size, agility and functional strength. He possesses the quickness of foot and raw power to consistently generate movement as a run-blocker. He has fine natural ease of movement for a man of his size and is able to slide laterally and mirror pass-rushers very well. At times, he will really show his ability to be a dominant run blocker. He is a savvy blocker with good feet to develop further as a pass protector. He gets a powerful surge as a drive blocker and has made amazing progress in only two seasons as an offensive lineman. His nasty demeanor will help him in the NFL.
Cons: He can come off the snap high at times, which negates his big frame and athletic ability. He shows a tendency to lunge and lose balance when he does not read stunts quickly. He needs work on his hand technique to sustain longer as a drive blocker.
Numbers:: At the Combine he ran the 40-yard dash in 5.32 seconds and did 30 reps in the 225-pound bench press.

Weaknesses:
Very raw and might be a bit of a project...Has some trouble with quickness...Hand use is sub par...Does not always play with proper leverage...He needs to work on getting in better shape...Work ethic and desire have been questioned...Has some trouble with power...Only has two years of experience against top DI competition.

Notes:
Native of Nigeria...Didn't start playing football until his final year in high school...A JUCO transfer who spent two years at Valley Forge Military Academy...A potential left tackle and that's where he played in college but could also project to the right side as well...An excellent physical specimen who is already a great player but still oozes potential...Might just have a higher upside than any o-linemen in this draft.

Just based on the info here we definitely should not draft Otah. Spencer's pre draft issues were technique and makes no mention of mental focus or desire.

Otah is a project, is raw, has trouble with quickness, needs to get in shape, work ethic and desire have been questioned. Sounds like an ideal guy to convert to LT.

If our FO guys look under the hood and see the guy can learn and are able to find which buttons to push then I am all for it, but do you think Gibbs wants this "biography" on his first day of training camp?

which part? where he lacks experience (didn't play til Sr. in HS) bit of a raw talent (you think) might have more upside than any other tackle in the draft or lacks work ethic (winner of the team's Ed Conway Award in 2007, given to the team's most improved player, All-Big East Conference 1st team honors as a senior, shut down big-name defenders like Chris Long and George Selvie & offensive captain of the team)
