Interesting Comments from the Oilers QB
Chris Mortensen just reported that McNair is inactive today and will yield to Volek. No big surprise considering the injuries and the funk he's in.
What Mort said that was interesting was that (pretty much quoting here) "McNair has lost confidence in those around him. Not just the players around him but also manangement who has failed to replenish lost talent." Hmm. Where have we heard that before. Bud takes over for Diamond and Viola! In his defense, Reese has been one of the best in managing the comings and goings of players for the last several years but it looks like the death spiral has officially begun. |
