With the trade of DeAngelo Hall to the Raiders and Asomugha designated with the franchise tag, is it possible they could be shopping the latter because Hall will warrant an extension to complete the trade. They can barely afford one of those guys let alone two. I think the Texans should consider offering their first rounder for him considering he'd be able to help immediately and we obviously need it there.

<duh>He's gonna command a lot of interest. </duh>
If he becomes available because of the Hall trade, the asking price will be very high. I doubt our first rounder would be sufficient, but then again it's Al Davis. |

Is Asomugha that much better/better behaved than Hall that the #35 overall pick is good enough for D'Angelo, but #18 doesn't cut it for Asomugha?

Al Davis could pull of swapping Asomugha for D-Hall, AND move up 17 spots in the 1st round......that would be impressive.

Nnamdi is tagged for a year and I think it will be on how they structure Hall's contract. Biggest question becomes how do they feel about the two behind Hall and Nnamdi. I think the Raiders also need to rotate their Safeties and Put Huff, who is is lightyears more athletic then Sweigert, at FS. Stewart in the past has seemed to have a nose for the ball and is better in run spport like a SS.
If they want ONE first I'm not really that opposed to it. |

I doubt it. Al Davis has a love for good cornerbacks.

With DeAngelo Hall going to the Raiders theres a chance they'll release Nnamdi Asomugha. Young guy, tall, fast.
Playing GM for a day would you do it? Link: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3295344
