If the Texans had tendered him with a contract, other teams could have sign him with a better deal. In exchange, Houston would have received 4th round selection from that team. This was what I was hoping for prior to Mathis alledged stupidity.

Mathis hasn't shown the least modicum of maturity in his tenure with the Texans. He can't even hack it in the NFL, why do you think he could handle something as important as being a parent?

What the heck is wrong with Manvel?? I have a friend that lives in Manvel that has a very sweet house with about 20 acres to play with. There may be portions of Manvel that aren't great, but what City isn't like that?
