Uh... what the hell is a slot RB? To me, that's always been a third down back but those guys are usually known for breaking big plays to make up for the fact that they can't bruise you inbetween the tackles.

Reggie, for the most part, does neither.

Regardless of the fact that Reggie Bush is not an every down back, the fact that Trent Green has a longer career long than a first round NFL pick at RB is a little sad, is it not? I could bust a larger run than Trent Green. Come on now. There are quite a few of those that do not inspire a lot of confidence. Josh and Luke McCown? Is there a soul left on Earth that is still going to argue that Bush is not a bust?

i love how people say Bush has to be "accounted for" at all times. unlike any other player on the field, of course. here's the thing: if you don't account for Bush, he'll get a lot of yards. great. so could anyone. but if you DO account for him, then he does NOTHING. there is absolutely NO big play capability in Bush at ALL. he's NOT a weapon, he's all the ability of a 3rd down back.

David Carr.....he'd still find a way to get out of bounds 10 yards behind the line of scrimmage throwing the ball at a cameraman or cheerleader after he's pronounced out of bounds.

You know, I got that at the beginning of the year and it cooled off towards the end of the season. The national media has changed their tune from Bush to Young, but a lot of them are starting to credit Michael Smith for being supportive of the Williams pick.
