A little surprised by Harvey. The other two needed to go pro as their teams are going to have very big questions next year, even with them. Martellus has the ability to be the next Gates at TE. He is uber athletic.

the Texans should be able to draft a great player even @ #18 with the talent coming out early. on Stewart I hav'ent seen the offical announcement but the Oregonian is reporting its a done deal. I'm posting these paragraphs because, well they just happen to mention the Texans & Amobi Okoye, thats cool to me says they know we exist & I'm sure the feeling is mutual.

I find it funny they mentioned Okoye's $12.8 million guaranteed money as 267x the national median ANNUAL household income.

The point they're trying to make is that roughly $13million is an incredible amount of money, it's just curious to compare it to an annual figure when the guaranteed money isn't an annual amount-it's over the life of the contract.

I kind of wish Tight End was a bigger need for us- I really like some of the TE's coming out like Fred Davis, Martellus Bennett, and I really like Mizzou's Martin Rucker. I think these guys are solid 2nd round guys but (a) we don't currently have that selection and (b) there would most likely be a position of need for us that grades out close to these players meaning we wouldn't select them.

bennet's the kinda guy i'd like to see miami get with that second first rounder we got.

Sorry to hate, but I think TE is a need for us. OD is to inconsistant to rely on. He has a great play, then he fumbles. He makes great catches, then one bounces off of his face mask. TE isnt a top 5 need for us, but it is a need.

if you just coach him up, those mistakes will be eliminated and POW you got a top 10 tight end.

Is it Green Bay's 2nd round pick y'all have and if so how'd you get it?

What is Parcells draft philosophy as far as trades go? Any chance he sees a player at the #18 spot that he would really want and trade both 2nd rounders to Houston? Depending on how the 1st overall goes (Chris Long/Glenn Dorsey??) who could he see at 18 he would really want?

#33 (really 32)- 590pts Miami's
#60(59ish?)- 310 pts -San Diego

By my math that's a dead even trade points-wise. I could see Smith pulling the trigger if that's offered and there isn't a LT for this team available.

we have San Diego's second rounder from the Chambers trade.

i haven't looked too in-depth at his draft trading, but i know he did have four 1st rounders in 2000. no clue how those came about.

If CLady and SPencer are gone at#18, I think I'd be ok with two 2nds. And if we could keep our third and trade up lower picks to get another 2nd as someone suggested on another thread, I'd be down with that.
