Cam Cameron and company are really in love with Jake Long. he's the #1 player on their board.
of course, who knows if Cameron will still be with Miami by then. Bill Parcells has been known to take a liking to big freaky athletic linemen. so if Parcells is running the show, here's who they are looking at, i assume, at #1: Glenn Dorsey Vernon Gholston Chris Long Jeff Otah all i feel will be legitimate top 3 choices by draft day. |

I am sure Howie is hoping that Chris Long can find a way onto the Patriot's squad via the 49ers pick. It is just insane that the Patriots are going to get either Dorsey, Long, or McFadden. The NFL should have taken that pick away and not their own pick. That would have sent a message greater than the slap on the wrist they gave them for cheating.
I think an LT makes sense for the Dolphins but methinks they would be better off trading down for multiple picks. Jerry Jones wants McFadden since he is a Razorback alum and you could probably get both their 1st Rounders and maybe another top pick in 2009 to boot. They could then possibly get Sam Baker and Kenny Phillips as well as any bonuses for the #1 overall pick. They need players and I don't know if a LT is going to make that much of a difference no matter how much of a stud he is.

I would try to trade down first, but if no one is biting I'd take Dorsey. The guy was a monster before that cheap chop block. I'm sure by the draft and all that fiasco he will be ready to go and help you guys back to winning ways. Chris Long looks destined to be a star in this league.

Sorry man, I'm not computer literate enough to know the little abbreviations. I'm assuming you're thinking of an ex-Texan front office man?

I think that if Dorsey dominates the National Championship - he goes #1 without a doubt. If he does not dominate, then the window is open for others to possibly step up.

that'll be a good one. send me a bottle when she's done.
Otah is as physically gifted as any o-lineman out there, certainly no reason at all why he couldn't jump up boards big time with a great offseason. he's already a top 10 senior in most scouts' eyes. |
