this one kicks off the bowl season folks! can't find any possible NFL studs to watch for, so this one will be strictly for the pleasure.
Utah vs. Navy Dec. 20, 9 p.m. CST (ESPN) 40-second analysis: Somewhat mystifyingly, the Utes have become December's Team. They've won six straight bowl games under three different coaches, covering the spread in the last five. They're solidly favored over the Midshipmen in a game that matches strength (Navy's offense) on strength (Utah's D). Utes allowed only 9.5 points per game the last half of the season. Middies led the nation in rushing offense and averaged 40 points per game, but were just 1-3 against bowl teams this season. And their coach is leaving for Georgia Tech. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/colum...7&sportCat=ncf
