Default A look back at the 1991 Houston Oilers.

wasn't sure where to put this thread, so mods feel free to move it.

Houston Oilers 1991: Most explosive team ever.

Quote:
No Super Bowl yes, that's because of the coaching staff's habit of playing prevent defense during tight playoff games. When this team played Oiler football there was NO STOPPING IT! They didn't just defeat opponents, they crushed them!

(for a warm tingly feeling, in part 1 you can watch that houston defense eat quarterbacks the likes of marino and elway)

Oh, man I just happened across those videos a couple of weeks ago. Great memories. What a team that was. My parents and I had season tickets from 90-93, and it was some of the best memories I have with them.

Oiler fans, it's worth watching every minute!

Those teams were stacked. Mike Holovak was one of the best personnel men in the biz back in the day.

Every time I save an NFL highlight film in my youtube account it gets banned, so I won't save those....I think someone up high is watching my tubes. They have surrounded my internets.

Oh man...that was a great group of guys. I see some similatities with a couple players on this years team that could be the start of something if we can keep going in the right direction. Think we can score a Matthews or Munchak in the draft this year please?

I think Mark and Andre are okay as the announce team. Their radio show is complete and total garbage, but their announcing is alright... but yeah, Franklin and Phillips were awesome... even if I never knew what the hell Bum was saying.

We've got the offense. We got the Defense. Houston Oilers #1! I want to see both in tonight's game with our Houston team. JJ will go all the way.

Man a player like Bruce Matthews that could be locked in for that many years. Wow. I think Pitts may do a pretty good job. Can not believe that Chester took a couple plays off last Sunday, the wimp.
