Wow! Fort Bend is out. Hightower lost to North Shore today 33-9. HT was actually up 9-0 untill 10 seconds before the half and it was a really good game. There was a decision that I wouldn't have made in going for a 4 and 1 at mid-field a minute before the half, and North Shore capitalized. Then a couple of untimely penalties and an interception sealed the deal. The game was reallly much closer than the score reveals, but once the momentum swung NS's way, HT just couldn't get it back.

HT should be back next year as a strong contender. I don't know a lot about Clements team and who's coming back next year, but I wish them well also.

What a fun night. Katy was raw and Waffle House almost gave me a heart attack. Katy is going all the way.

Katy just killed Madison (score was 66-21). Katy is going to win state this year! I am going to the game. No way I am missing this one.

I was at the game today and Katy just destroyed Madison. They are one of the best high school football teams I have ever seen and I think anyone will have a tough time beating them.
Good luck to them the rest of the way.

It certainly looks like any team going by the name of Madison is out of luck when it comes to the Katy Tigers unless they have Vince Young on their team. I still wish the Texans had noticed this a long time ago.

The Katy QB was quoted saying that they faced the best defense they have seen all season today - even so, they set a new record putting 66 total points on the board.

Congrats to Katy as they go up against Pfluggerville(sp?). North Shore came up short as they lost to Converse Judson, so Katy is the only Houston area representative.
