A freshman receiver All-American. Michael Crabtree did so much to make this list. He was amazing when I watched him.

It's funny because Brandon Flowers didn't make the All-ACC first team. He was on the second team yet he makes All-American first team. Kind of odd.
His teammate on the otherside Harris from VT made it onto the All-ACC first team. Link. I'm not saying that Flowers doesn't deserve it...I think he is the 5th best corner in this draft. |

Notice that there are no safeties. Just 4 cornerbacks. What's up with that?

The S pool is very weak this year. The best S in the draft didn't have a great year, but he still projects a lot to ST. The next best FS, Williams from OU, didn't have that great a year either. The best FS in the nation production wise, and one of my favorite defensive players who will not be a first rounder and will be lucky to be a first day guy, Craig Steltz from LSU should have been an All-American over Lowrey and Flowers IMO.

really proud of Selvie and Jenkins being the first USF players to be named All-American.

Also, the next great FS at LSU is Chad Jones. Kid is money. The Astros couldn't sign him, but he is a future first round pick. Book it.

BTW Flowers had a great game in the ACC Championship. I would be EXTREMELY happy with him at corner for the Texans, he is the full package at CB. Adibi also had a fantastic day. The guy can play all the LB positions. He is a very smart player as well. I wouldn't even mind drafting this guy in the first. Our front four could be quite a strength with him. I think he fits pretty well here too. The only problem with that is that you take him over a plethera of deserving cornerbacks and possibly over some deserving offensive lineman as well. |

yeah it's pretty silly to call Smith a "nice college back." he'll be a better player in the pros than Jonathan Stewart. both should be great though.
