Billy Miller just had a 57 yard catch and nice run for the Saints. He looks bigger now.

That was a hell of a play by Miller, and I do agree...he's gotten a lot bigger since last season.

Troy Evans made a nice open field tackle on a punt too.

Billy Miller is a good fit in NO. He wouldn't do well with a team that power ran the ball more often.
Also any chance NO picked up Troy Evans just to play ST against the AFC South? Maybe they thought he would be familiar with the teams since NO has to play the AFC South this year. If so, that's a pretty smart idea. |

^^ I guess it's a possibility, but we more likely just picked him up because he's a quality ST'er and we lost most of our good ones from last season. Last year our best guy on punt and kickoff coverage units were Steve Gleason (the blocked-punt guy on MNF homecoming game), Terrance Melton, and your very own Danny Clark (who absolutely demolished people on coverage and at the goal line last season). We needed bodies, having lost all three of those guys to either injury or letting them go in free agency.

Yes Bill, I am always happy when Billy does well. I keep my eye on his career. Last time he made it to Reliant he was a BROWN and didn't even dress out. I wish him well, just not on Nov 18th!!

Way back in the Texans inaugural year I was thinking that BM was already 30 something and in the league many years by that time. I was wrong. Long live Billy Miller. |

Billy will always be a huge part of TEXAN history! Not only because of the infamous Dallas game, but, because he made the first TD in Texan history at the HOF game. That was the TD that made me a Billy Miller fan for life. I was there, saw the excitement and passion, and because I am a sentimental old fool, had tears running down my face! Our brand new team, in their classy uni's, making their debute in the big world of the NFL, AND scoring against the Giants, just made me one happy Texan!!! I stay loyal to those who worked so hard for our team the first few years. Some of those guys will succeed, some will not. BUT, all of them had the unfortunate luck to be thrown into a seemingly no win situation, and they still gave us a few fantastic moments that will rest in our memory for life. I wish them all well!!!!
