Well we face a couple of guys ahead of us. But the way they are sticking with a couple of back ups startng, we might be in the race.

I can't believe the Patsies would get the fifth pick if it was today. Imagine if they end up with Dorsey. The rich just get richer.

Looks like that loss of a draft pick is going to really hurt them. Now instead of getting a top prospect and a really solid prospect, they are only going to get a top prospect.

hardly a race for McFadden. i don't see any of the teams in the top 8 there taking him.

edit: actually i bet New England would take him.

Most people believed the Cowgirls would take him with the Browns pick, but they have played well and cost the Cowgirls. It's a shame the Arkansas program is like it is now, because both of the RB's have first round talent IMO. I actually prefer Felix for where he should be drafted. Both are talents though, and it's like they are getting Texan like coverage from the media.

How can the Cowboys take a running back in the first round when they already have Marion Barber and another decent back in Jones ?

you are right they won't. the only way they would is if Jones really homers for a kid from his alumni and drafts McFadden. McFad doesn't do much for me. He looks like just another college running back. He isn't even a fraction of the RB that AP was.

I think Jones will go after the top CB with his Cleveland pick and a top OL prospect with their own pick. If they stick with Romo he is going to be getting paid top money and be a huge burden to their cap so they will want another OL to help protect him and the Cowboys secondary is completely atrocious. Watkins may pan out but Roy is slow as Christmas and they have little to no talent opposite Newman at CB.

I believe Julius Jones is a free agent and I can definitely see the Cowboys taking McFadden.

I concur, Jones is not that good and the Cowboys don't think MB3 can carry the load full time for a full season.

Plus JJ is an Arkansas guy.

This sounds alot like another Texas team I know of.
