What about trying to draw him out of retirement?

Solid posession receiver but a little long in the tooth.
So said, if we're going to get Andre back in about 3-4 weeks (my guess) and Jacoby back in probably another 1-2, why would you bother trying to bring someone in and assimilate him into the offense? Me, I'd just let it ride with Apostrophe Davis, K-Dub, and David Anderson (can you even make a joke out of "David Anderson"?). Besides, we've still got Ron "DriveThruLane" Dayne in the backfield. Nothing to worry about here....

Hopefully we are not underestimating the two 0-3 teams next on our schedule. I would really like to see us 4-1 before going to Jacksonville.

With this many injuries we can't afford to underestimate anyone! We've got two teams that are absolutely on the ropes in Atlanta and Miami. I just hope we can trot out enough talent to squeak out a couple of wins.
Going back to Hook'er's original post - if we had lost a couple of receivers for the year then YES I would definitely call someone like KJ.

After the Atlanta, game I really don't think we can wait another 3 weeks!

I think Keyshawn would be a bad signing, really.

I do too. If we're going to go sign somebody out of desperation then we should sign a RB not a WR. Our WR's are getting it done.

So said, if I'm Rick Smith I'm on the horn trying to find someone to give us a spark off the bench at the RB position.

Hell, sign Emmitt Smith or Tiki Barber.

Probably won't be popular but we needa guy to get a year or so of solid production that guy would be Corey Dillion IMO and he's probably still out and looking.
As for WR help no thanks to Keyshawn....why not give Charles Rodgers a call? |

That is what I was going to say. If getting anyone out of retirement, it should be Tiki.
