I have to go Push. Those uniforms were equally hideous. I was talking to a couple of the people at the sports bar that Philly better win. I mean the locals would go nuts if they wore those uniforms AND lost!

It appears that the Eagles changed their colors completely. Without a hint, my first guess would have been UCLA. Even though they are my least favorite team, I appreciate the 41 fantasy points that Westbrook got for me.

Commentators on NFLN said that the Iggles uniform colors were inspired by the Swedish national flag. Can't remember the name of the franchise when it was that uniform... the yellowjackets or something like that.

Please, please stop posting pics of the uniforms. I've already thrown up twice during this thread.

According to Pro Football Reference.com they've always been the Eagles, since 1933 when they started, except for 1943 when the Steelers and Eagles merged for a season.

The Frankford Yellow Jackets existed from 1924-1931 and played in Philadelphia. Frankford is a neighborhood within the city. There was no team feilded in Philly in 1932.

For a while I thought that those Eagles uniforms were some sort of evil throwback, man I were wrong...

On the positive side, the uniforms seems to work, WR's are as hard to miss as at roadworker wearing orange.
