Bullpen - Texas Bowl

Anyone planning on going? It was fun last year?

I am going this year. I had a great time last year. I got there early and enjoyed the tailgate they had set-up for everyone in front of the stadium. I ended up sitting on the Kansas State side and they were fun, until the game got out of hand. Hopefully I can get the same hook up I got last year, the seats I had last year were awesome.

I enjoyed sitting in our normal area, and getting in a fight with some TX hs football coach. He was an ass.

We had about 2 first row seats, 3 3rd row seats, and 4 4th row seats. I was down in the first row (dreaming of Texans games). He got annoyed and asked me if I was going to be yelling and standing a lot.

(mind you, lower bullpen was mostly empty)
"Yes"
"Well, these are my seats, I am Coach so and so and am a special guest of Rutgers (holds up his special pass), you need to go to your seats."
"Oh, that's good. These are my seats I am standing in. In fact, your wife and friend are sitting in my seats (holds up tickets)."

The look was priceless. But I digress (as usual).

I hope to go this year. I really wanted to go last year, but meh. Didn't work out.
