Nothing earth shattering, but a short read. Notice how Schaub never really blows his own horn? He's always singing the praises of those around him. Didn't see any references to this article anywhere else, but if it already exists, please delete or merge.

The reason why Schaub never blows his own horn and praises those around him is because he has class.

Not to derail a thread, but Carr did the same and was villainized by many for it ... funny how every smallest detail goes under the microscope when we're talking QBs.

I don't know....he was pretty down on himself after the game for making some mistakes...said they left points on the field...he looked serious about it, too.
Maybe he needs to smile more...grow his hair out...

just listen to the players on the Texans...they have made it painfully obvious to any Carr homer/apologist that Carr was a major problem and a major detriment to our team the past 5 years. It's obvious by listening to the Texans talk that Carr was a panicking little panty waist who felt that he was above hard work and being a real teammate. he was more concerned about beating the traffic home so he could get home before anyone else. screw that loser once and for all. so basically by saying, 'not to derail a thread', you succeeded in doing so. maybe you should just head over to Panthers.com and talk to them about Carr because, frankly, we could care less. The guy was a failure. Period. End of story. Go away. *drinks beer* here is to hoping Carr's candy arse gets put on the field Sunday, so we can just drive his face into the Carolina crabgrass and end his pathetic excuse of a career once and for all. FUDGE CARR!! GO TEXANS GO SCHAUB CARR SUCKS

Personally I have nothing against Carr. I am so thankful to have gotten his autograph while he was still with us. I will cherish it forever.

This writer has been pimping Schaub all off-season. He wants to see him succeed just as much as we do.
Well, maybe a little less... |

Schaub has class, and for the most part so does Carr. The big difference is that Schaub is much better at the Quarterback position, and thats what really counts.

Regardless of how you spin it, Schaub is our Brett Favre. He was a no-name back-up for a mediocre organization expected to come in and take the reigns of a bottom feeder. His skill set and tangibles may not be the same but he was brought into an organization on the verge of implosion. We have expected alot from him, praising him and knocking on him every time he takes a step hoping that he can build himself around the talent that he has at his disposal. Schaub has shown signs of inexperience, all the while, chalking it up as a learning experience and moving on to the next lesson. This kid has the heart and desire to be among the best offensive leaders in the league, once his skills have been honed by experience. Schaub is by no means the best in the league and has a ways to go before he is even taken into account, but he is certainly pointed down the right path for future success. This kid IS going to be our franchise quarterback and I expect much more similar praise over the next 10 years.
