Rookies Of The Year - Houston Texans Message Board & Forum

Thought we'd play a little game called guess the OROY and DROY for the 2007 season. Since each team has played 1 game and we have gotten to see a glimpse of the rookies, let's put in our votes. Time ends at kickoff of the first game on Sunday, September 16th (start of week 2). I didn't see if we have done this on here or not so excuse me if we have. Then when the awards are announced we can come back and see how we fared.

Let the games begin:

OROY: Adrian Peterson RB- Minnesota Vikings
DROY: Patrick Willis LB- San Francisco 49'ers

OROY - Marshawn Lynch
DROY - LaRon Landry

well I think predicting 2008 will be much harder than 2007.

Immediate post draft prediction:
OROY: Jonathan Stewart- RB, Panthers
DROY: Vernon Gholston- OLB, Jets

I'll try to remember to bump this during preseason so we can make our final decisions.

This is part of the fun. Making the prediction before the season really starts. Again, this is just a preliminary guess, the real one will come after the final preseason game and prior to game 1.
