Texans Sing along
I started this last year and the Texans went 2-0. So the sing alongs will continue as long as the Texans win!

Where were you when the world stopped turning on that September day?
Were you at the field with your wife and children, or cheering on the Texans in LA? Did you stand there in shock at the sight of that red smoke rising against that blue sky? Did you shout out in pleasure, fear for their corner, or did you just sit there and cry? Did you weep for the Broncos who lost their dear road game, and pray for the ones who don’t know? Did you rejoice from the athletes who won in the huddle and sob for the ones left below? Did you burst out in pride for the red, white, and blue, and the heroes who thrived just doing what they do? Did you look up to heaven for some kind of answer, and look at yourself, football really matters! I’m just a singer of simple songs; I’m not a sports analytical man. I watch NFL N, but I’m not sure I can tell you the distance from Iraq to Iran. I know Jesus and I’ve talked to God and I remember this from when I was young: Faith, hope, and Texans are some good things he gave us, and the greatest is Texans. Where were you when the world stopped turning on that September day? Were you Teaching a class full of innocent children, or driving down some cold interstate? Did you feel guilty cause you’re a Texan? In a Dallas bar did you feel alone? Did you call up your mother, tell her you love her, or did you dust off that jersey at home? Did you open your eyes, hope it always happens, close your eyes and not go to sleep? Did you notice the sunset for the first time in ages, or speak to some other fan on the street? Did you lay down at night and think of tomorrow, go out and party till one? Did you turn off that violent old movie you’re watching, and turn on those Earl Campbell reruns? Did you go to a party and share beers with some strangers, or did you stand in line and give your own blood? Did you just stay home and cling tight to your family, or thank God you have the Texans to love! I’m just a singer of simple songs; I’m not a sports analytical man.
