Gado is probably much better at blocking and picking up the blitz then an UDFA. Walker might also be put on the pratice squad.

I think missing out on OTAs because of school hurt his progress. Hope he makes the practice squad.

Sucks for us...its kinda like when we cut Carr...the rest of the division was depressed. Leftwich has the slowest release of any NFL QB and it was killing their passing game.

To me the biggest surprise is releasing Brandon Frye. He had an injury which kept him out of a lot of training camp but we did draft 2 players "AFTER" him and we kept both. With his athletism he had the potential to be a swing player for the tackle-guard combo.
Based upon how many of these players are picked up, now we get to see if our talent is as good as a lot of people are saying it is ?

I actually don't mind Garrard back at QB. Keep in mind we picked him off 4 times last season (almost half of his INTs for the entire season).

With 2 cuts being delayed until tomorrow, and Flannigan, McKinney, and White still here, I would not be surprised if one of the potential trades will be for Flannigan or McKinney

Maybe the Chris White experiment at LT did not go so well, the Texans can't afford to move Black to his "better" position at RT, therefore they need to keep Jackson?
