Rookie watch - texan potentials

i love draft time for the texans, especially when one draft can potentially make or break a team possibly. i know its a long ways a way but theres no harm in talkin about it.

ive seen some early mock drafts for 2008 and i gotta say im excited with who we might get from NCAA, just not happy with what that pick meant for this upcoming season. were looking at another 6-10 maybe with a pick around 12. Ive seen some that are even worse where we end up with the 3rd overall pick. which isnt so bad cause i usually like how 3rd overall picks turn out for teams.

but heres the good part of it - the potential players are:

Steve Slaton, RB, West Virginia
Jake Long, OT, Michigan
Kenny Phillips, S, Miami

all three are very good looking fits, if you dont know anything about em, id read up on them if i were you.

what rookies are you guys looking forward to possibly wearing the texan uniform in the future. reaching high for mcfadden? an impact WR in the first round later?? love to hear what you guys all think.

Please, the season hasn't even started yet and you're looking at next years draft. Give me a break.

Anyway, I see us winning at least 8 or 9 games.
