I don't think that the Texans would be too pleased if it had been Jerry coming up with a similar offer.

Personally, the $15 off a jersey in the Texans store isn't much better than the tax free weekend. I would like another Texans jersey myself once the team gets past the turnover situation. Heck I have more ex-Texan jerseys than current. However, the better deal comes from Ebay. Why pay $65 for an awful screen when I can get stitching for $40 on a good day?

The Cowboy fans aren't smart enough to understand that McNair doesn't really believe he has super powers, that Cowboy Bill really didn't have to be escorted out (he is so short he wouldn't be seen in a crowd of sixth graders), and that thier team, after talking trash about how the Governor's Cup was thiers and they were gonna bring it to the Texans as if it were a real game, tried harder than the Texans but still lost.

Say what you wish, but at the beginning of any given season I will never say I predict us going 5-11. Hey, might happen, and I can deal with it, but it certainly won't be my prophecy.

I guess to some it sounds good to say "realistically, I think my team will go about 8 - 8. In that case, why not wear Dockers, a Polo shirt and loafers to the game, then sit back and be cautiously optimistic the prediction hold up.

The first game that the Texans ever played is the one that counts the most for us Texans fans. You can talk about the history before that game and I would give you a big pat on the back for winning Super Bowls and having Hall of Fame players. BUT, you must realize that the Texans came to existence in 2001.

In our first game, we put a smack down to our interstate rival. OUR FIRST GAME! Quit tooting your horn so loud about games that count. Texans vs. Cowboys(regular season), are both one win and one loss.

But my whole point is that we put a better product on the field two weeks ago. The first string Texans looked great in every phase of the game, against what was supposed to be a better team. And then, our second string whooped up on your first string. Something that many Cowgirl fans don't care to acknowledge.

I know that stating these facts will never sway narrow-minded opinions so, therefore, we will see midseason how the Texans are, and if this whole preseason was a fluke.
