I was just watching Sports Center on ESPN and they finally got to football. Even though I was at the game last night, I couldn't wait to see the highlights. Especially couldn't wait to hear them talk about how improved the Texans were, Jacoby Jones is the da man.....etc.........

What do they do?

The only clip they show is TO's touchdown, don't even mention JJ's punt return and almost under his breath he says the score.

I know we're not going to get respect over night, but come on!

Seems the only story they care about today is that Brady Quinn is NOT the starter in Cleveland.

ESPN is nothing now since I have NFL Network. I wish Michael Smith would go to the NFL Network. He is the only thing that ESPN has going for it.

Could just be the episode you saw. I've seen it, the PR, a bunch of times. The TD catch a few and T.O.'s only once.

Could it be Sportcenter vs ESPNews?

Yeah I got a bone to pick with the comicle also. If the astros are toast...why is baseball still recieving four pages of coverage ? Including an article on the front page decalring them toast ? Let it go Chronicle. There's nothing left in the tank and nothing left on the farm. Bury the cadaver for goodness sakes. It stinks lol.

ESPN's football coverage is terrible. Their baseball and basketball coverage is actually decent, but for whatever reason they suck at football. Their football analysts suck. At least they got it right by getting rid of Joe Theismann. Besides Michael Smith and Ron Jaworski, ESPN sucks at "analyzing" games.

I won't say I hate ESPN because it's the only semi-nonbias sport brodcast up here but just the lack of news up here pisses me off. The only offseason press the texans got was the Schaub trade. The whole Green thing went basically undiscussed and when the youngest drafted rookie in history could have died and got the same amount of on-air coverage that he did.
