yep.. if the story is indeed true then Pac doesn't really deserve to continue playing football.. but notice the if.

this sure isn't the first time Pac's name has come up after a shooting. I really doubt anyone can be that stupid.

If this is true Pacman might have upgraded his suspension to 1.5-2 years. Goodell is looking for step changes in Pacman and going to a stripclub really isn't the kind of changes The Commish wants to see.

Notice a pattern? Just like Vegas.. it isn't PacMan with the gun, its a member of his "entourage" that pulls the trigger.

PacMan is in another car and can say "I didn't pull the trigger" when you damn well know he was calling the shots.

And the place was one of the really skanky Strip Clubs in DeKalb County too...

These guys don't roll like that. this isn't the mafia man. I'm sure he may have an idea of who pulled the trigger in his entourage, but it doesn't happen like that. These entourage people think that the celebrity status of whomever it is they're rolling with extends to them & when someone like you or i doesn't give it to them....... crap like this happens.

I've seen it happen a dozen & 1 times in clubs & functions i used to frequent when i was younger. If he cares about playing in the NFL any, he needs to change the people he runs with.. period. that might help him change his ways a little faster if he's trying to change at all. If it were me, i'd just have to "sell out" & do what i needed to do to keep my career alive.

To quote the story:

"Burrows said witnesses at Club Blaze, a Moreland Avenue strip club, have told police Jones was at the club and that he and his entourage were involved in an argument at about 4:15 a.m. with a group of three men. The argument concerned a dancer at the club, police said.

After the argument, witnesses overheard Jones, a Clayton County native, said he was going to get a gun, police said.

He then left in a black Cadillac Escalade, witnesses told police.

But, when the men with whom they argued left the club in a Toyota Sequoia, Jones's entourage followed them in two vehicles police identified as a green Dodge Charger and a black Pontiac Grand Prix.

A few blocks away from the club near I-285, the victims told police the men in Jones' entourage pulled alongside their vehicle on Moreland Avenue and opened fire. The men returned fire, they told police. Their vehicle was struck seven times, but only one minor injury was reported. Another nearby vehicle was also struck and suffered damage to its windshield."

Sounds pretty "Mafia like" to me. Except the Mafia has better marksmanship.

If I were the Dekalb County Police, I'd like to see the activity on PacMan's cell phone after he left the club- outgoing and incoming calls.

The "I'm going to go get a gun" line just bought him another year off from the NFL.

But this is all academic. He is getting a year minimum in the Georgia Department of Corrections for the stuff he pulled in Fayette County with the Police Officer.
