I find it pretty funny that the leagues worst team is complaining about the intensity and aggressiveness of their practices . Seems to me that a cellar dwellar team like the Raiders would welcome Kiffin's aggressive style .... I guess not . Sounds more like they dont mind being the worst team in the league and dont care to work to get better .....

Wonder which of Kiffin's players turned him in ?!

I recall something like this recently but I cant remember what team it was ? Dont think it was the Raiders tho . I wanna say it was the Giants .... But dont quote me on that .

The Giants got hit with something similar in recent memory. Also, the Cardinals had a similar thing happen to them. Soon after it happened Pete Kendall was let go by Green & it was assumed he was the one who had complained.

Oddly enough the only thing scheduled from my understanding next week is weight training.

I have a friend who's a huge raiders fan. He seemed to at least think at least they were trying something after the past few seasons being debacles.

Now the Eagles are being investigated for too much contact during offseason workouts.

EAGLES UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR OFFSEASON CONTACT VIOLATIONS

An industry source tells us that the Philadelphia Eagles are under investigation for alleged repeat violations of the rules against contact during offseason practices.

The source says that tapes of practices have been turned over to the union over the pleadings of coach Andy Reid, who believes that there was no reason to explore the situation.

The source also believes that the inquiry is the result of a complaint made by a player, and not the product of the NFLPA deciding to take matters into its own hands.

So the next question is who would complain? Typically, players go with the program unless their noise is out of joint for some reason. And when it comes to Eagles players who might currently have their noses out of joint, there's only one name that comes to mind.

The penalty could include the loss of a draft pick.

Why does the NFL wait until a compliant is filed to investigate the contact during offseason workouts? Teams tape these workouts and they're all time-coded. All the NFL would need is to have duplicates made and reviewed. If these teams knew that there was a real possibility these workouts would be reviewed and violators would be punished, the illegal contact would be eliminated. This is something the NFLPA should have asked for during their last CBA negotiations. Just another example of Gene Upshaw's incompetency as the union chief.
