I'll be in New Orleans this weekend and we are gonna catch the UH vs Tulane game so of course I will be there Sunday and need to know a sports bar that WILL 100% SHOW THE TEXANS vs PANTHERS GAME.
I just want to wake up and and put my stuff in my car and walk someplace in the french quarter and then drive home when it's over. thanks for the help.

It's been about two years since I've been in the quarter, but if you are wanting to stay in the quarter area, your probably looking at a "gentleman's" club for a place with the most TV options...not to mention cheerleaders.
Hell, Pat O's has a couple TVs, you might call them to see if they would put the game on. Other than that, you can try these spots that I found on a quick google search. I've been to "a" Fox and Hound and it was a good place to watch a game, it's a chain, so I'm guessing it will be about the same. Disclaimer: I don't support any of these locations and your decision is your own, I'm not liable for the outcome. :-) Fox and Hound English Pub 504-731-6000 1200 S Clearview Pkwy, New Orleans LA 70123 While the interior is a cut above your average sports bar, Fox and Hound comes alive after dark, just the way you would expect it to. There are multiple televisions broadcasting every type of sporting event, and just the right menu to complement the scene... Cooter Brown's Tavern 504-866-9104 509 S. Carrollton Ave, New Orleans LA 70130 Located in Uptown's historic Riverbend neighborhood, Cooter Brown's rises above the typical student-oriented bar, though it might be trying a bit too hard to stand out with its "Celebrity Hall of Foam and Beersoleum." ... Kabby's Sports Edition 504-561-0500 2 Poydras St, New Orleans LA 70130 With 24 42'' Plasma TV's and 8 30'' LCD TV, Kabby's Sports Edition Grille is voted Favorite Bar/Lounge by New Orleans Magazine's Readers' Choice Poll. Stop in for draft beer, burgers, muffulettas, po-boys, and more... Friar Tuck's 504-891-4080 5130 Freret St , New Orleans LA 70115 The spirit here is relaxed, with lava lamps, dragon pictures and only one LSU pennant. Familiar crowds play pool, darts or the Golden Tee machine, while cliques chat around the bar and at tables under the light of beer advertisements... |
